    1. Who we are and what this covers

    Insideware Apps LLC ("Insideware", "we", "us") operates FuelQ Pro, a nutrition and performance service for endurance athletes. This policy covers fuelqpro.ai and app.fuelqpro.ai, the FuelQ Pro app and services, our emails, our sign-up and download forms (including free guides, checklists and calculators), and our contact form. It does not cover other companies' sites that we link to or that you connect to FuelQ Pro. Mailing address: 6200 Stoneridge Mall Rd Suite 300, Pleasanton, CA 94588.

    2. Information we collect

    You give us:

    • Account information when you create a FuelQ Pro account: name, email address, password (handled by our authentication provider), birth date, sex, height, weight, country, cell phone number, fitness goal, weekly training hours, sports, meals per day and diet type.
    • Race and plan information: the races you choose, race dates, finish-time goals and fueling preferences you enter.
    • Free guides and forms: your email address; your first name, main sport, next race date, expected finish time and experience level where a form asks for them (optional unless marked required); and your marketing choice (section 4).
    • Contact form and partner-benefit claims: name, email, subject and message; for partner benefits, also the code, finish time and goal you enter.
    • Purchases: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your plan, subscription status, amounts and a Stripe customer ID. We do not receive your full card number.

    Collected automatically:

    • IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, language and time zone, pages viewed, referring page, and campaign information in links (UTM tags and advertising click IDs such as fbclid and gclid).
    • A country derived from your IP address, which we use to choose your language and to decide which emails we may send you.
    • Email interactions: whether an email was delivered or bounced, and which links you click (our links carry an identifier that ties a click to your sign-up).
    • Cookie and similar identifiers from analytics and advertising tools (section 5) and, inside the app, a first-party event log (page, action, your user ID, browser details).

    Health and fitness data. Some information you give us or connect is health-related: weight, height, sex, birth date, diet, hydration and fueling logs, and training data such as duration, intervals, distance, heart rate, power and training load. We use it to build your fueling and training plans and to show you your results. We treat it as sensitive: we do not use it to target advertising, and we limit access to it.

    From services you connect: Garmin Connect (section 9) and Strava (section 10), only after you authorize the connection.

    Business contacts. For race organizers and clubs, we use business contact details published on their own websites or provided to us, to ask whether a partnership may interest them. Every such email has a way to opt out.

    3. How we use information

    • To create and run your account, build your fueling and training plans, and show your planned and completed workouts.
    • To email you the guides or checklists you request, receipts and service notices.
    • To send marketing emails, only as described in section 4.
    • To generate recommendations with AI model providers (section 6).
    • To measure and improve our website, content and ads (section 5).
    • To protect the service, prevent abuse, fix errors and enforce our terms.
    • To comply with the law and respond to legal requests.

    4. Email

    Guides and downloads. If you request a free guide or checklist, we email you a link to it. In the United States, we send that delivery email whether or not you tick the marketing box. It contains the guide only: no offers, and a link to opt out. Marketing emails. We send marketing emails (for example the Fuel your week newsletter, the Winter Base follow-up emails and FuelQ Pro offers) only if you tick the marketing box on a form or subscribe to the newsletter. The box is never ticked for you. We store the time of your choice, the wording you saw, and its version, as proof. Account and service emails (receipts, security and plan notices) are not marketing and are sent as needed. Opting out. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email privacy@insidewareapps.com or reply "unsubscribe". We aim to process opt-outs within 2 business days and always within 10 business days. To honor your choice, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not email you again; we do not sell or transfer it. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service emails about your account or purchases. Email delivery is provided by Resend; our sender address is fuelqpro@fuelqpro.ai. Where we send. Our guide-delivery and marketing emails are currently limited to recipients in the United States.

    5. Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies

    We use:

    • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to count visits and measure how our sign-up page and funnel perform. It records page views and events our site sends and sets cookies such as _ga.
    • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure our advertising and to see where people drop off in the sign-up funnel. Meta may receive the page address, the event name, your IP address and browser identifiers such as the _fbp and _fbc cookies. We do not intentionally send your email address, name or health information through the Pixel.
    • Where they run. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel in our sign-up and checkout flow.
    • Storage in your browser (first-party): campaign information from the link that brought you here (UTM tags and click IDs such as fbclid), your unit preference (metric or imperial), your country, and a marker that an email click was already recorded.
    • Our own servers receive your country lookup, email-link clicks and, when you submit a form, the cookie identifiers _fbp and _fbc and campaign information, so we can connect a sign-up to the campaign that brought it. Inside the app we keep a first-party event log. Your choices. Our website does not currently show a cookie-consent banner and does not respond to Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals. You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser, use Google's analytics opt-out add-on, adjust ad settings in your Meta account, or ask us to stop at privacy@insidewareapps.com. Sale and sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws treat certain advertising and analytics technologies, such as the Meta Pixel, as "sharing" or "sale". You can opt out by emailing privacy@insidewareapps.com.

    6. AI-generated recommendations

    FuelQ Pro uses third-party AI model providers to generate nutrition and training recommendations. We send the information needed for the request, such as sport, workout timing, duration, distance, training load, intensity zones, race details and fueling goals. We do not send your name or email address for this purpose. FuelQ Pro is not medical advice.

    7. How we share information

    We do not give your information to advertisers for their own use. We share it with:

    • Service providers that work for us under contract: Google Cloud/Firebase (hosting, database, authentication; United States), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), AI model providers (section 6), Google (analytics) and Meta (pixel measurement).
    • Services you connect, such as Garmin and Strava, when you authorize it, and exports you request.
    • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect people or our rights.
    • Business transfer: if Insideware is merged, acquired or sold, subject to this policy. We do not share your health or fitness data with advertisers, data brokers or race organizers. We do not share Strava or Garmin data with coaches or third parties except as sections 9 and 10 describe.

    8. How long we keep information

    • Account and plan data: while your account is active, then deleted within 90 days after account deletion, except what we must keep by law (for example payment records).
    • Free-guide and form leads: 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted or anonymized; sooner if you ask.
    • Email suppression records (so we do not email people who opted out): kept until you ask us to remove them, as removal would allow future email.
    • Analytics and logs: 14 months in Google Analytics and 12 months in server and app logs.
    • Garmin data: as section 9 describes. Strava data: as section 10 describes.

    9. Garmin Connect data

    When you choose to connect your Garmin account to FuelQ Pro, we access data through the Garmin Connect Developer Program APIs under your explicit authorization. This section describes specifically how Garmin data is collected, used, processed, stored, and shared. 9.1 What we collect from Garmin. Activities (ride, run, swim and other workouts): summary fields such as date, duration, distance, average and maximum heart rate, average and normalized power, calories, elevation, cadence, and TSS. Wellness / Health metrics where you have granted permission: resting heart rate, sleep summaries, body composition, and stress. Training plans and workouts you push back to Garmin Connect from FuelQ Pro. We do not collect Garmin data you have not explicitly authorized through the Garmin Connect consent screen, and we do not collect raw GPS track-points beyond what is required for activity summaries. 9.2 How we use Garmin data. Reconcile planned workouts with executed activities so you can review planned vs. actual performance. Compute load metrics (TSS, CTL, ATL, TSB) and personalize nutrition, hydration, and recovery recommendations. Display your training history inside FuelQ Pro. 9.3 How Garmin data is processed and stored. Garmin data is received via Garmin's PING/PUSH webhooks and stored in encrypted Google Cloud Firestore in the United States. We respond to all Garmin webhook deliveries with HTTP 200 within the required window, and we honor Garmin's user-deregistration and user-permission-change webhooks by removing or updating affected records. We retain Garmin data only while your FuelQ Pro account is active and your Garmin connection is enabled. Disconnecting Garmin from inside FuelQ Pro deletes the stored Garmin tokens and triggers deletion of the associated activity records within 30 days. You may also request earlier deletion via privacy@insidewareapps.com. 9.4 Third parties and AI processing. Garmin data is NOT sold and is NOT shared with advertisers. Garmin data is processed by the following subprocessors strictly to deliver the service: Google Cloud Platform (Firestore, Cloud Run) — storage and compute, United States. Anthropic, PBC (Claude API) — server-side generation of nutrition and training recommendations. Summary fields (sport, duration, TSS, avg HR) may be sent in prompts; we do not send personally identifying fields. Anthropic processes inputs under their no-training-on-API-data policy. Garmin data is never shared with TrainingPeaks or any other third-party integrator without your separate, explicit consent at the time of export. 9.5 Your controls. You can disconnect Garmin at any time from Settings → Connections. Disconnection revokes our access token and starts the deletion process described above. You can review which Garmin permissions FuelQ Pro currently holds at https://connect.garmin.com under "Connected Apps." Changes to this section will be submitted to the Garmin Connect Developer Program team for written approval before publication, as required by the program terms.

    10. Strava data

    If you connect Strava, we fetch your activities through the Strava API. The data first goes into temporary collections during a sync. We keep only what FuelQ Pro needs (such as duration, intervals, power and heart rate) and store it in your account as processed workout data. We use it to compare your completed workout with your planned workout and to show you your personal records (PRs) and possible KOMs for that workout. Your training plan is stored separately from your completed workouts. We do not share your Strava data with other users, advertisers or race organizers. You can revoke access in your Strava settings at any time, and you can ask us to delete your Strava-derived data at privacy@insidewareapps.com. (Garmin: see section 9.)

    11. Your choices and rights

    • Marketing email: unsubscribe at any time (section 4).
    • Cookies and ads: see section 5.
    • Access, correction, deletion, portability and withdrawing consent: email privacy@insidewareapps.com. We will verify your identity (for example by replying to the email address we hold) and respond within the time required by applicable law.
    • US state privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have the right to know and access what we collect, to correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or of targeted advertising, to limit the use of sensitive information, and not to be treated unfairly for using these rights. We offer these requests to all US users, whatever their state. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@insidewareapps.com with the subject "Appeal".
    • Sensitive and health data: we use health and fitness data only to provide the features you ask for and do not sell it.

    12. Security

    We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption and secure APIs, to protect your information. No system is completely secure.

    13. Children, and where we operate

    Our services are not intended for people under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it. Insideware is based in the United States and our services are run from the United States, so your information is processed and stored here. Our guide-delivery and marketing emails are currently limited to the United States. This policy is written for US users. If you are outside the US and want to exercise a right under your local law, contact privacy@insidewareapps.com and we will respond as that law requires.

    14. Third-party services and links

    Services you connect or links you follow have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

    15. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with the date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
